Garner Woman’s Club Designated a Garner Historic Landmark
We are thrilled to share some exciting news with our members, supporters, and community: the Garner Woman’s Club has officially been designated as a Garner Historic Landmark!
This recognition is a tremendous honor that celebrates our club’s enduring legacy of service, leadership, and community engagement since our founding in 1928. We are deeply grateful to the Wake County Historic Preservation Commission for their thorough research and advocacy, and we thank the Town of Garner Council for their unanimous vote in support of this designation.
Becoming a historic landmark not only honors our past but also helps ensure that future generations will continue to benefit from the work, mission, and presence of the Garner Woman’s Club in our growing town.
We’re also proud to now be part of the Garner Area Historical Society—joining fellow stewards of Garner’s rich and vibrant history.
This recognition reaffirms what our members have always known: that strong women, united in service, can build a legacy worth preserving.
