The Garner Woman’s Club has been Rooted in Garner since 1928, uniting women through service, leadership, and fellowship. Each month, we open our doors to new and returning members for an evening of connection, inspiration, and community impact.

SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER: Tara Coppedge

Tara Coppedge is an experienced communications professional and award-winning journalist who joined Pretty In Pink Foundation in 2020 as Director of Marketing and Communications. Before bringing her storytelling expertise to the nonprofit world, Tara spent more than 11 years as a news anchor and reporter, most recently with Spectrum News North Carolina, where she anchored statewide newscasts and produced special reports.

Inspired by her parents, who are both cancer survivors, Tara felt called to shift her career from news to nonprofit work. She now channels her passion for storytelling into highlighting the lifesaving mission of Pretty In Pink. Tara holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Media Studies from Florida State University.
