October is designated as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

We hosted Cindy with InterAct to educate us about ways to raise awareness, honor survivors, and unite as allies. Located in Raleigh – InterAct runs a crisis intervention program that helps families and children take a step forward from violence. They operate a 24-hour crisis line, operate a thrift store offering used women’s clothing and accessories and provide education and community support. Thank you to the staff and volunteers who serve InterAct for all you do. Our club is proud to be a strong advocate for this work and we look forward to partnering on a project this December to help those in need!
